Not much difference. Bars are overrated for approaching. You better off approaching in parks. Have some nice conversations with people who aren’t in a group settings.

They are the best imo. The thing about bars is, they are social enviroments where just chatting with randos isnt out of plave or weird at all. The music is lower and there are more chatfriendly areas. Also, they are smaller and less flashy then clubs, so its easier to stand out, and the social proof/preselection/popularity you build by working the room will get noticed more, thus help you more. If you do stupid shit like direct game, you will burn out the room quicker after a few rejections, of course, but direct spam appriach is bad game anyway.
