I'm 24M, 6'2: So last year November I went to this outdoor bonfire cafe with my friend where he'd called his female friend who had her bestie come with her. Now I had a feeling this bestie (we'll call her Evie) had already heard about me so it gave me the confidence to be indifferent which kinda made her like me more. We had good fun that night, I sang (I'm a vocalist) and she fell in love with my voice and in an hour she left with her friend. This was in another city. As we were driving back to my city Evie followed me on social and her friend told my lad she was kinda into me.

Over the next few days of chatting she tells me she was going back to the UK (her country) in a week but she comes back here every 4 months or so [trap]. That's where I was like ok.. Imma take it reeeal easy with this one and wait till she comes back. Just keep her interested and if she doesn't come back in like 4 months I'd just stop talking to her. We kept speaking over the next 4-5 months and when I had a feeling she wasn't come back anytime soon cause of covid I kinda pulled back. She also knew what I was upto so she all of a sudden deactivated her IG which made my job kinda easier.

Now she recently re-activated her account and is kinda trynna pull me back in which makes me feel she's coming back. She posts stories but the DM box isn't there which means she wants me to slide back into the DMs directly and not through stories. She's views my stories too and is trynna grab my attention back but I'm not giving it to her.

My idea is, if she comes back we'll hangout/hookup whatever. But because she was the one who 'ghosted' me, should I be the one to initiate contact again or should wait for her.

JFYI, I'm not hung up on her on anything, she's obviously kinda sexy and has a hot '' Bri'ish '' accent which can kinda be intimidating but that doesn't stop me from dating other women.

What would you do to re-escalate things in this situation to where she's comfortable enough to get with you when she's back.
