If you are a man:

Have a lot of different skills, be a wordly person, know your city/town like the back of your hand etc. Basically dont just be all about your job. You dont even need to bring up that you have these, they'll come up naturally:

Example 1:

"What's that cut in your hand?"

"I was building a wood table for my sister she saw on pinterest. If you need something made let me know :)"

"That's cool, what got you into wood working?"

Example 2:

"I gotta get an oil change for my car soon, they're expensive!"

"The oil costs $30, if you venmo me the money I can change it at my place when we meet up on Friday, I promise I wont scam you lol"

"That's cool you can do these things, how did you learn?"

Mysteries are inherently intrigueing. Try a guessing game regarding a topic about yourself.

Personally what I find works best is if you follow these two minor changes in your speech.

Instead of asking questions make playful assumptions. So instead of “What do you do for work?” instead say “You look like a 4th grade teacher, a mean one too.” It’s more fun and makes the girl WANT to ask questions. “Why does he think I look like a teacher?! Why a mean one at that?!.” Now it’s instantly become a conversation. Here’s the next stepping stone. When she begins asking questions, exaggerate and lie about your answers playfully. “How old are you?” “You wouldn’t believe me, but I’m actually 53 years old.” This keeps up a sense of mystery about who you are and shows you don’t easily give out all your information. Makes her chase you a bit. You’ll find they will insist on a answer and you can keep playfully lying or finally tell them.

I believe with just these two adjustments of how you interact with women you’ll notice a significant improvement in your verbal game.
