That’s really all it takes, no?

If you’re competent (you have the skills) you’re going to have a shot. She’ll give you an opportunity.

How do you seal the deal? How do you get her interested enough in you that she’s willing to give herself to you?

Making a bold move may do the trick. But that’s only if she already wants you.

How can you create that want? The answer is to add an element of mystery.

Not the Mystery that wears hats and goggles and stars on VH1 shows. Let’s leave that to him and people of his ilk.

For the vast majority of us, we’re more comfortable adding a small element of mystery to our interactions so she can’t quite read us.

She doesn’t really know what to think of us. She becomes curious.

Here are some ways to create mystery and spark her curiosity.

Wonder about her

A lot of guys see a hot girl and instantly crown her. They make her feel like she’s right about everything and God’s gift to earth.

Why? Because she has good genes? Because she paid for a boob job?

Don’t give her the benefit of the doubt just because she’s hot.

Wonder about her.

Is she any good?

Does she deserve your time?

Is she going to add value to your life other than being nice to look at?

Ask yourself these questions as you interact with her. She’ll notice you’re not the fawning douche she’s used to.

Don’t be over-eager

This takes some practice and many guys misunderstand this.

This isn’t “act like you have better things to do even when you don’t.” It’s not “ignore her” or “tease her” so that she’ll like you more.

That’s going to attract girls with self-esteem in the negatives. Stay away.

This just means to be a normal human being. A balanced individual who has different things going on in his life. One who doesn’t jump at a chance to meet up like a puppy jumps at a tennis ball.

Take a second. Think about it. Do you have any better options? Is this girl really worth your time? If so, then calmly say “yeah, that sounds great. Let’s do it.” with a smile.

You weren’t lying or acting. You were contemplating and assessing.

Making her guess a little bit.

Nothing wrong with that.

Have things going on

You’re busy?

You have some things you have to take care of?

Shit. Now I’m interested.

Guys that have nothing going on are boring. Boring to talk to at parties. Boring to introduce to people. Boring to think about.

The interesting and exciting ones have things going on. They have interests. They have passions. They’d really like to hang out with you but….it really doesn’t fit in their agenda.

It’s kind of crazy. Every time I’ve gone through rough patches with women, it was because hooking up with them was my number one priority.

Once I’d begin to fill up my schedule with activities for myself, plans to help others out, and just being with my friends (and making new ones) is when girls started to fall into my lap.

It just happens.

We desire what we can’t have. It’s human nature.

There’s no need to lie and pretend like you have a ton of things going on. Either she’ll see through that (and think you’re a loser) or she’ll find out later and you’ll end up an even bigger loser.

Get up off the couch. Reach out to friends and make plans. Go for a run. Sign up for free events happening in your town.

When a girl tells me she has an event to go to, it makes me want to spend time with her even more. I get interested.

Why not flip the script?
