Use it to your advantage. I slept with a girl and she told all her friends I was a player. I was completely honest about my intentions.

Her friends took this to heart and over the next month I slept with four of them. I started going to parties with 5 hot girls I had previously slept with. It totally worked out in my favor.

Just walking in with hot girls got me more action than I could have ever pulled solo and the girls would vouch for my abilities during girlie bathroom talk time.

I'm shit at this but I have gotten called this a lot b/c of social standing. What I find is they want deep conversation and more validation of why you are talking to them. Basically sort of saying I think all you want me for is my vagina. I noticed this happens a lot when I just talk/be funny and casual for too long. After a while you should take them aside and talk about something real. Like once I pulled the girl asside. (mistake that turned out to be good move) and told her I thought we had a connection like we were child hood friends. We talked on that level a bit and then she kissed me.

Treat it just like any other shit test, agree and amplify. Women say and do different things all the time. An undeniable truth about the player is that he has a lot of experience with women and even though she outwardly says she's repulsed by your rep she's internally curious about how good you really are. Embrace it!

Like both lenovopc and rucron said, it acts as preselection (it's obvious -- to her at least -- that you've been with other girls, which is almost always a good thing), and it's a sign for you to either ignore it, or to get more personal (either option is fine, IMO, but it kinda depends on the situation).

Out of all the girls who've blindly accused me of being a "player," I ended up fucking pretty much all of them. In some cases, it's because I got more serious as the night/week went on, and in others it's merely because I treated it like a joke and responded in kind (with another joke).

The one thing I'd advise against is what you're talking about in the OP. Don't just straight-up lie to them -- not only is it morally questionable, but if they truly think you're a player, you'll also make yourself look like a total liar.

Like I said though, it's preselection either way -- it shows that you've had experience and it shows that other girls have liked you before, which is almost always a good thing for you.

On the reddit search bar, just search "player" and keep it within seddit. You'll probably find plenty of similar posts about it.

Edit: In terms of being "genuine," then yeah, be more genuine. Show her somehow that you've gotten around before. With your "intent," obviously you want to show her that you wanna fuck her. If that's the case, make some moves within the first few weeks, if not the first few hours, if not within the first few minutes. Make some real moves at least within the first few hours. Go for a kiss within the first few hours. Invite her somewhere private, or just back to your/her place. If you drag it on any longer than that, not only can you lose attraction really easily, but she might actually think of you as more of a player, as if you're trying to set up some sort of "perfect" situation (which is often -- but not always-- bullshit, but it's what girls think sometimes).

By being genuine, and not straight up lying to a woman who thinks you might be a liar.

They have no problem with you being a player.

They have a problem with you being a liar. The perception of players is that you're a liar, out to take someone for all she's worth without offering anything worthwhile in return.

If you don't say or do those things, but if you're still clearly sexual and confident, you're not a player anymore - you're a winner.
