assume its "professional niceness" not "fake", and only when you know the person relatively well assume its "personal niceness" aka "real". It has the same practical effect, its just people dont want to commit without having a good idea knowing they will have a good time; most people have baggage that doesnt show up right away.

Women are far better at reading people. If you have a history of being led on, then you are probably below average in this field, even for a man.

This means you shouldn't base your strategy on reading girls. It's counterproductive in your case.

Reading girls is reactive.

You should aim to affect them emotionally as hard as you can. Create waves.

When you are proactive and they are reacting to you, and you put a "tall order" to make them invest, and they go through with it... You just know they are into you. When you are the one putting pressure of them, and they jump through the hoops to validate themselves... You just know, you don't need to be a master at lie detecting and cold reading...
