How's your eye contact with her been? If you haven't yet, the first step is cultivate positive eye contact for a decently prolonged period time paired with a smile. If she smiles back and holds some eye contact, that would be a good small step in the right direction.

From there, just add value to the social dynamics with the group of friends and when the opportunity arises where the two of you are isolated, give her a compliment and ask if she'd like to ever hang out in a more date-like setting - ideally something cool you've already got planned.

Isolation is the name of the game. But you don’t always have to do it blatantly (you can, but always depends on the situation).

When you do it straight forward (“can you come with me real quick? I need your help with something”), the plus is it’s a good moment to see if she complies. When a person is attracted to you, she will tend to comply to your request. But of course, the minus is you gotta get ready if she said no. Then you need to switch to another person “oh that’s fine. Jane, you wanna help me instead? See Jane is nicer than you (makes a smiley face).” So in that moment you can save face, and realize she’s probably not into you, and make a sly remark at her all at once.

If you don’t wanna do the isolation directly, you can start by joining the group and get involved with whatever talks they’re having. In a group setting, talks are usually diverted naturally so not everyone in the group will be constantly engaged. One could be busy playing their cell, another one will talk on her bf on the phone, the others will talk with the rest of the group, so the group will eventually split itself into smaller ones. You can help directing it this way by starting a small talk with one of them (not her, obviously. Just pick a random guy for starter). By doing that you’re basically breaking the rhythm and the pace of the group talk. After that, you just wait until you see an opening to talk to her.
