Hey y'all this might be sort of long, so if you'd rather, I'm going to include a tldr at the bottom, even though I'm not really even sure if this is the right sub to post to, I'll give it a shot though.
So a little background info to start off-- I'm currently a full-time student at a large university, a member of a small fraternity, and I have a part-time job for the time being. Between all of these things I don't have a whole lot of free time. I've also been battling depression and anxiety for many years, and I finally reached out for help about 6 months ago; I've improved a whole lot since then.
Needless to say, I'm still trying to work a lot on my inner game. I know for certain that I've had issues with trust due to several people in my past, and more recently I've worked hard to cut out poisonous people from my life and find who my true friends are. This included cutting contact with a girl I was in a relationship with, and someone who I considered to be my best friend at one point. This was very difficult for me, but I knew it was necessary for my well being. As far as my personal insecurities go, I've gotten a lot better about them now that I've really put effort into my health, hygiene, and appearance. My confidence has grown as well.
With all that being said, I still have a long way to go to get to where I want to be. With everything that I have going on though I feel like I have little or no time to continue working on myself, especially inner game. The little free time that I have is either spent as alone time (which at this point is still extremely necessary for me), or doing things with friends. I feel like I have very little time to focus on improving myself. I generally feel too drained to do much of anything when I'm free, and that fact along with all the stress from everything else generally makes me go in the opposite direction of where I want to go mentally.
So, any advice here? At this point I feel as if some sort of sacrifice needs to be made in order to make time to focus on myself. At the same time however I feel like I'll be dodging responsibilities by doing so. I just feel like I'm stuck, or at an impasse.
tldr I've found that even though I've been able to improve on my inner game a lot over the past year or so, my responsibilities are keeping me too busy to have time to focus on myself. Does some sort of sacrifice need to be made to leave time for myself? How can I find the time I need to improve myself without dodging my responsibilities?
