So yesterday I went for a drink with this cast manager (24F), and I was so focused on being my extrovert self, and I was handling it very well (speaking my mind, making jokes, not being too serious), but it was just her getting to know me about this part in a series which is gonna be filmed round my city. Thing is, when she was telling me stories about what it was gonna be like on the set, I found it hard to listen, especially as she spoke for quite a while at times and I was sort of just laughing at her stories and saying how good the show sounded when she was describing it.
What do you guys do when listening to people in general in a 1 on 1 situation? How do you keep an interested frame? Like when I was smiling, I could feel a twitch at the side of my cheek happening.
Insane post, I know, just want to hear your thoughts.
