I'm in a high level english class at university with a definite HB8 (What she lacks in physical attractiveness she makes up for in gall. One of those female empowerment, hippie types).

We happen to sit next to each other a couple times and make some passing comments / discuss on each other's opinions of the course material.

I figure I might as well take a crack as today she didn't have a book and she asked to share mine. We read a bit to the class, she and I and we get a little chemistry. She giggles at a joke, etc.

Leaving class is a traffic jam and I force my way through (not rudely of course) to get out and she follows me. Says something in German, I respond in German and have exhausted my knowledge of German. We talk a little, half flirty on the way out of class until the überAFC comes and stutters out some fail-flirt.

In the limited time we have I couldn't really open and I can't really see me stealing much more time (maybe a couple extra seconds) especially with the AFC biting my game.

As this is kind of a low priority HB for me would it be unfounded to just pass a "Let me buy you some coffee" note during class? It could be cute and it could break down the feminist vibe a bit with an overly cute gesture as such
