Just plan another date, no reason to be text buddies with her especially when you're in a funk. I know there is a fear that she will lose interest if you are not texting her constantly. I am dealing with this fear right now actually. But wait a couple of days before you hit her up again. Go about your life, you shouldn't be waiting all day hanging on to a text from this girl. Thats not a good way to live man.
Should I ask her now if she wants to hang out next week?
Tell her more than ask, "Let's go to the museums next week, when are you free?"

Pretty much, why maintain the convo if it isn't fun/going nowhere, use texts to set up face to face dates. You aren't trying to be her "just my guy friend."
In the meantime talk to other girls and stuff, I know its hard but its a risk you have to take.

Talk in person ON DATES. Only use text/phone for setting dates.
Do you think your converssations would have turned shit if you were seeing each other once a week and only speaking then? :)
Give it a week or so then CALL HER and set a date a week in advance. Sounds like you are setting dates like a chump too. Don't ask IF she wants to do BLA. Ask "When are you available next week" then set a DEFINITE time, day and place.

We’ve talked for hours before and it’s never got boring, but I do think you’re right about it not turning boring in person. I’ll keep that in mind. I’m just worried about not keeping it lively and interesting.
