In seduction this is known as an IOI (Indicator of interest )

If there's any more than that, you should probably have made a move, even if you're scared of rejection. Some girls may get into their own head and have doubts about you being a selected mate if you don't show traits of knowing these signs.

unlimited variables in human interation. Sometimes you might have done somthing 'wrong' like inability to hold eye contact or you said something that upset her, but most of the time, if you are rejected, you simply weren't her type and you need to move on to the next. (or she's in a very commited relationship etc)
