Hello everyone. So there is this girl in my college, we have met a few times in the classes we got in common. We were exchanging eye contacts, then i went up and talked to her. She was very receptive, constantly smiling. After the 2nd time we met she gave me her number, and we talked more in depth.

Fast forward, during this week i have dm'd her to hang out, and she said that she's not available bcs she got a family emergency and said that she would love to reschedule it someday in the future.

I do like this girl, from the little we have interacted and i would like to get to know her more and i feel that its mutual.

How should i go abt asking her on another date later ? (Should i make her wait? , let her ask first?, ask her out asap while its fresh?...). I dont wanna come off as over pursuing and turn her off, so ur advice would be very beneficial as this happens to me with a lot of girls.
