He had a really easygoing manner like, hi how y'all doing today, and totally ordinary friendly game ... where you from and so on.

I would walk up and open direct. If she’s about it I’d sit facing her and keep talking. The important thing is don’t accidentally sit like 3 ft away, sit close enough to casually touch.

Keep talking and see if she’s up for a walk on the beach to get her up and moving. Then incrementally do a pull or instadate.
