So where the hell do start?

go out, meet girls, talk to them

seriously, most of that PUA stuff is bull shit. you'll learn how to deal with women the more you interact with them, eventually you'll learn all their little signals n games. the environment you're in also plays a part, women don't act the same at the club/bar where there's the expectation of getting hit on vs at school or on the street. you'll probably get little to no indicators of interest in normal social settings unless they are really into you

if you have a friend that's been hittin the clubs for a long time ask him to give you some pointers, that's how i started out, going to the club with him and him pointing out all the stuff he had learned

I always suggest “Models” by Mark Manson (I’ve read many, from.Layguide to Mistery Method to The Game etc). It’s a good book overall.

But, the most important thing is always to go out and practice. There’s no book or video course that will make you any better if you don’t put what you “studied” into practice and discover what works for you and what not.

I'll address the "nice guy" part of this post.

You have to "harden your heart".

This is a very holistic lifestyle change, and not just turning into a dick or bad boy.

I would strongly recommend going to YouTube, and researching TOM LEYKIS.

Listen to alllllll the old radio shows that he put out.

Leykis is not the end-all-be-all of seduction, as he is fat.

But his brilliance in helping men avoid the "nice guy traps", is second to none.

Don't waste time like so manynof us have. Just get out there. "Excuse me, hi, what's your name" just keep opening with those and you'll learn to improvise

Go out and cold approach. That’s the best way to improve your game really quickly
