Hi, how are you guys doing? First time poster here.

First: I'm very sorry for the long post and my horrible english.

As the post title implies I'm in doubt of how/when to ask the person I like out.

About me: I'm very shy guy, usually have trouble keeping a good conversation going and never understand when a person is trying to imply something without saying it clearly to me(this sucks the most).

Backstory: I studied with this girl about 6 months ago and had a crush on her. Today she is not attending classes with me anymore, so we didn't talk much since then. Last week I've gone to a party and she was there. I was having a good time with my friends when she approached to say hi and to ask how I was doing basically, then she returned to her friends. Some days later she started talking to me on Instagram (because one of my posts) and we've been talking till now. She doesn't tend to start a topic, so I try my hardest to create some interesting topic and keep the conversation going. I don't know if I can already ask her out because very difficult to me understand from her texts if there is interest or not. I know that I will know if I ask her out because "I already have the 'no'". It jus doesn't seems simple as "just ask her out dude!"

Any help is appreciated.
