Personally the idea that struck me like a lightening was that you can definitely kiss a girl on the second date!

See, if she didn't think about it, she wouldn't have gone on the first date. But okay maybe you met online etc. so she wasn't sure what you looked like.

But on the second date, everything is already clear, she knows what you look like and how you are, this is 100% certain.

Sometimes I asked girls I dated if I could have kissed them on the first date, which I sometimes did anyway, and they would say, to be honest yes, otherwise I wouldn't have met you, but it didn't hurt to wait.

You can also see it this way. Usually girls that are good looking have options, and I assume she looks good or at least wish that for you :) Out of those options she would obviously pick only the ones she would think about kissing at least or even more. Congratulations, you are one of them!

Apart from that, how you kiss them. Well, even in the most casual environment you can in fact "surprise" her and just kiss her, that was new to me too actually. If you want to build up some tension first, go for light touches blbalbala all that stuff and in the evening there is a different feeling in the air of course so that helps, also sit next to each other so you don't have to bend over the table.

To actually do it, you can do the following: When you walk and you truly feel like you want to kiss her and not just because you think you should, suddenly take her hand and say STOP loudly and in a commanding way but with a smile, she will be confused and alarmed if something happened, and then you would just stand there and smile and pull her to you and kiss her and then say to realease the tension if there is any: I really felt like doing that. If you are more bold than that you can just interrupt her while she talks and say something like: hold on a second and kiss her. Usually they say: Haha now that's a nice way to tell me not to talk that much.
