Learning only 1 lesson in 9 months sounds ridiculous at first hearing, but I believe this is the only thing a man has to internalize to achieve a happy life.

Of course, I had to build an attractive lifestyle, and it wasn't easy. I had to hit the gym, try meditation, build and destroy habits, pick up new hobbies, improve your body language and eye contact, pay attention to touch and improve my social skills (A.K.A study and practice game). This shit took time and effort. Not to mention these things are just the basics.

But in the end these things all originate from one thing:

Being honest.

You have to be honest with others. Honesty is the biggest turn on for women. It shows that you are comfortable with yourself and you don't try to hide your flaws. Not only that, but being dishonest with others will slowly make you believe that you are not enough. I think it's obvious how toxic this mindset is. You will always be coming up with new lies to make others like or respect you more, but you know that in reality they are having those feelings for a construction that can collapse any moment. You might even succeed with your plan for a while, but it's unsustainable. If you ever want to get into an LTR, then you can’t keep up those lies for long. Your fake persona can only give you ONSs, at the price of poisoning your mind.

You have to be honest with yourself:

  • (Who are you now? Are you satisfied with yourself?)
  • Who do you want to become?
  • How can you bacome that person?

Then start doing these things. Forget about where you are at the process and be proud of your progress.

You have to know what do you want, and how can you achieve it. You only have to repeat that two questions and act accordingly until the end of your life, and you will probably be happy in your dying bed. The algorithm is pretty simple, you just have to focus on asking the right questions. Let’s see a few examples:

  • Going to the gym is a pain, I think I will quit.
  • All right! You don’t have to do this 1HungarianThrowaway, but you are not allowed to complain about body image issues and low self-esteem later, ok? Not to mention it will be somewhat harder to get laid.
  • Well, I think I don’t want those things to happen.
  • Then you have to pull yourself together and hit the gym, mate.
  • Yeah, you are right. I am in love with my gains anyways.

Or:

  • This girl is pretty cute, I want to get to know her.
  • Then do!
  • But I am afraid.
  • Oh, it’s understandable. It’s not easy to make yourself so vulnerable to others. Maybe next time you will be braver. But you know… maybe she is the love of your life. Maybe you are missing the opportunity of your life right now. Is it ok with you?
  • Well I certainly wouldn’t like to miss the opportunity of my life.
  • Then maybe you should grow some fucking balls and approach her, shouldn’t you?
  • Yeah. That sounds pretty logical to me. Here I go!

You see, the most common advice you can read on the internet when it comes to pick up is simply being yourself. Everyone knows here what a fucking bullshit this statement is. I also shared this opinion for a long time, but yesterday the realization hit me after some shit. 1 year ago I was an "introverted" geeky child, who played video games all day and masturbated to hentai 2-3 times a day. I was so arrogant I even thought that I can't connect with people, because I am too unique. I guess we could even say that I almost hated everyone. Oh did I mention that I was a nice guy? Surprisingly enough, when I was simply "being myself", I wasn't suffocating in pussy, to say the least. But I was naive enough to keep up this lifestyle, since eventually everyone finds his partner, right? (Fun fact: Maybe I won some heavenly lottery, but I even got approached by a few attractive women during these years. They were quite persistent too, actually. But in the end they were no match to my awkward social skills, so they had to admit their defeat.) One final thing about me: I hated myself for wasting my life away in front of a screen. Every fucking night I stood up and asked myself "What am I doing with my life?". The better question would have been: "is this what I want to do in life?". Then, by simply running the little algorithm in my head, I would have noticed that in reality I want to meet new people, I want to be muscular, I want to be interesting, I want to find my soulmate, I want to write a book, I want to achieve big things in life, etc. These were the things what I wanted to do. To achieve these things, I should have asked myself "How can I achieve these things?". It's that simple. It only takes asking the fucking question and (if we have the sufficient knowledge) acting accordingly.

In the end, it took me 19 years to realize, that the person who I was at the time was not myself.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." This is a great quote, but I think it can be interpreted more than one way. Of course, if you play video games X+ hours/day, then you are either a professional player, or a waste of space a geek/player/whatever genderfluid game-loving being you identify yourself. But from a different angle: the thing you are repeatedly doing is not being honest with yourself (since you hate yourself after standing up from the screen).

Then you are a geek, but you are also a man who is not being himself.

If you are a rare man, who really does find true happiness in playing video games, and you accept every positive and negative aspects that come to your decision, then go ahead and just play. In this case you are not a waste of space, but a man, who we can all look up to, because you are living a life that is true to yourself.

But if you are similar to me, and you find happiness in the grind, then you shall consider eliminating gaming from your life. (Or at least reducing the time played)

I am painting a very black and white picture here, but all I want to say is: Being yourself actually does work, but first you have to ask yourself: "Who is the real myself?". After finding the honest answer to that question, you can start being yourself.

Tl;dr: Be honest!
