but then the real SHIT starts: i calmly and regularly ask the girl i'm texting if she wants to do something the fallowing week to which i'l get a dry and mostly disappointing text such as: "i'l see if i'm not doing something this week" or "yeah will see".

Maybe you aren't as amazing as you think you actually are in person, sure nothign wrong with a lot of confidence but there is a point where if you actually aren't that great of a person people won't want to meet up with you.
Don't ask., Take control. " I'm doing X tomorrow, i think it would be cool if you came"

If they say they can't then dont even bother texting back and you move on to the next girl who thinks you're worth spending her precious time with.

Call her if you want to set up the next interaction! Nobody ever said you needed to text. Even if it comes across as a bit weird, she'll still remember you as somebody different, because nobody calls anymore.

The best approach to take would be to go for the call; in the past i have had trouble with trying to get girls to follow though meeting me, the solution you ask? You also may just be asking her way too early. I've found more success just dropping the plan on them last minute. Typically most people will settle for last minute plans, because some plans beats no plans, right?

Asking a week ahead of time makes you look kind of lame. Girls are going to always give the replies you mentioned. It's easier to cancel on somebody when you're asked ahead of time. If I asked you what you were doing the following week, what would you say?

Had similar problems. Honestly high self esteem, pretty fit, and even good looking isn't a good mix. I got more girls when I was a slob but had confidence. If you're good looking and fit, be adorable. Too much can be a bad thing, especially for those who are insecure which is about almost everyone on some level.

Secondly, dealing with the texts.. Texting is awful. Some have mentioned calling; do that from the beginning.. If you've texted for a while, mention calling. Texting from what I've found is a beast of it's own, it deals with timing and not so much with who we are. Even guy friends appear more attractive and worthwhile when they don't text back occasionally.

You may be texting back too fast in a combination with being too funny, making you appear too eager and needy. If you met them the night before chances are that's the bulk of it... If you left a good impression you could escalate her interest, but if it was mediocre you probably need to be ballsy, not funny.

I don't believe getting good at pickup is good. I think the winds are changing, women are not going to trust a guy who is smooth like they used to. Most girls are with guys who are fun and stable, have problems. You have to understand what you want. A one night stand or relationship? Two different ballgames. You can be a total asshole and get a one night stand, in fact those guys are better for it because they're getting used, and they're doing something dirty.. so they don't want to be with someone respectable.

It's simple really, do not take the girl's number unless you can set up a firm date with her. A firm date is, "let's meet up at xyz tomorrow at 5pm" once you've established that and she solidly agrees to it then you take the number, if she doesn't agree or agrees half heartedly then you don't take the number and leave
