Meh.

Acceptance of your parents being human and imperfect is crucial. Imagine what their parents (and their world) must've been like.

Things are easier today, in every way, than ever before.

Rather than complain about what's wrong, what your parents did wrong, etc, you "be the change" you want to see.

Only you can decide and make yourself what you want to be. Realizing this is a hallmark of becoming an adult.

PS: And I'm a middle-aged misanthropic cynic. Be better than me.
