TLDR: How do I escalate with a girl who seems to want to spend time with me and flirts on text but won't escalate anything herself?

I've known this girl for 2 months now and it was initially slow going with a lot of mixed signals and push and pull from both sides.

We have comfortably crossed the physical touch barrier (by her initiation) and ive also accepted it and tried to escalate from my side.She already hits me when i tease her and tried to play footsie with me once. We've comoared hand sizes and ive grabbed her hands a few times to looks at stuff like a new bracelet or her nails

Issue is ive only recently started working on my inner game and confidence and have almost no experience with dating.

I invited her to an Anime convention and we are going in 3 days. I didn't phrase it as a date so don't think i can call it one but it will be just the two of us.

She's also kind of a traditional girl who doesn't do hookups and seems to like making me chase ( I've been careful not to play her game too much and pull back and ensure she also shows effort). She's not had many relationships herself and mostly had 2 long relationships till now.

I feel like she's still evaluating me and it's partly my fault because early on i was afraid of rejection and didn't flirt or escalate at all and killed her attraction but I realised that and switched up within the first 3 weeks.

I'm not sure what the acceptable escalation steps are when it comes to kino and how to escalate from here. I don't think I can go for a kiss or anything yet because we are yet to go on a proper date.

I really just want to escalate enough to see if she's into it for sure and if she is then I'll ask her out proper and be done with it either way.
