I have avoided it for so long because I really think that pickup has developed a lot since the old Mystery Method canned routine days. So although I wasn't really reading the book for pickup advice, It was such an incredible read because, aside from Strauss being an excellent writer, it was awesome learning about the backstory of all the guys I have been learning from over the years.

Every time a new 'guru' was introduced, I thought to myself, oh my god, I have watched hundreds of videos from that guy, thats how he got there? I felt like I knew all of the dating companies already, but this book was like the final piece of the puzzle that showed me how they were all interconnected.

Just wanted to rant about it because, well, that feeling after you finish the last page of a great book.
