I am a 25 year old guy, but I feel 15. I have never had even low-level employment, and even that is something I'll kill to have right now. I feel like as a man, I'm being unfairly held to a higher standard of finding work than women. Instead, I do local volunteer work, but it doesn't seem enough. Another issue is that I can't/don't want to drive, so I feel like I'm being held to a higher standard for that also. I'm like the typical "special needs" guy, even though I may not meet all the qualifications for "special needs".

It has really hurt my self-confidence with men and women. I feel like I'm being prevented from having a social life outside of some circle who I met on Thursdays but don't hang outside that group very often.

I need to get a decent low job, but even in the meantime, do I still have hope to attract anybody? I only had one girlfriend, but I think that was just by luck. She also had some similar issues to me.

I'm in a total rut and I can't escape easily. I'm held back.
