Tldr: Met some cashier, can't tell if she was being nice or flirting

So hear me out first.

It's Friday evening, I'm going out with friends and usually we like pregaming and stuff before hitting the club. This particular evening I'm not keen on gaming and stuff because I'm meeting a few longtime friends and I just wanted to have fun with them. So I go to this liquor store to buy some drinks and I see this stunning cashier. As I normally do, I greet her with a smile and ask her how her day was going. She returns with an even bigger smile, but I don't think too much about it coz she's a cashier, it's literally her job to be nice. Then she complimented my outfit, I'm slightly taken a back, I'm literally wearing a tank top with shorts, I didnt try to look good at all, although my arm is tattooed. Again I don't think about it too much. The drink that I wanted was in some fridge just next to where I stood so she comes to where I am to take it out and she said I smelled so nice and proceeded to ask where I bought it from. So I think that she might be flirting with me, and honestly I didn't know what to do at that point. I tell her where I got it from and if she wanted to we could go out and look for a similar one or even the same one coz it's a unisex fragrance. She says that's fine with her, I tell her I know where to find her (now here is where I think I messed up, ideally after such an interaction i would have asked for a contact info but I was so conflicted coz of the notion that guys shouldn't really ask out cashiers because its their job to be nice)

So how would you guys read that situation? Was she just being nice or was she genuinely intrested? And if she was, how would you approach the situation after? I'm new to this seduction/gaming stuff.
