I never used dating apps or tried to ‘slide in dms’, but I’m realising that it isn’t something I should brush off completely and not try in the future.

My profile is quite weak admittedly - only one post from one of my holidays, three highlights showcasing one of my hobbies (dancing), and of course I have a profile pic.

But that is it. Nothing more. I rarely take pictures of myself, in my head it needs to be a 10/10 picture and most interesting location/thing I’m doing, otherwise it’s not worth posting, and then you’ll have somebody post a random blurry pic of the ground and not give a shit.

Long story short - I’m starting to realise my mentality needs changing. I’m quite certain my aversion to posting and taking pics is the last ‘anchor’ to the past when I was bullied as a teenager.

Back to the topic - any advice for instagram game? I imagine first I need to build a profile that is interesting, but then what? Find profiles somewhat close to me to follow? Message before im even following her? Like a story and see if she will do anything? Wait for a reaction to my story?

It’s definitely obvious but I do overthink this shit a little lmao.
