Quick backstory: I like this girl at my work, she's definitely confident because she seems comfortable with responsibilities she has and the way she communicates to other employees and clients. I talk to her sparingly but I've held strong eye contact everytime.

Based on what I've learned the way to attract confident women is to show them you're an awesome, cool guy. So today the opportunity presented itself and she brought an absolutely cute dog to work (I'm a dog person and I really love dogs (had 6 dogs when I was younger)).

I wanted to start building attraction so I went by and started talking to her about dogs while her dog was all over me. We had a great 10 minute conversation and towards the end she leaned her neck to the other side and slowly rubbed the exposed side. I immediately recognized this as a positive IOI because she has held eye contact for most of the conversation and didn't do this one time before that.

I need to know what you guys think. I'm playing the long game and your opinion would greatly help me moving forward :).
