I asked her out for tacos a few days ago. I scheduled for today. She said maybe, she had to check her schedule. I avoided texting her because I didn’t know what to say without being needy. Plus we used to see each other at work all the time. Plus she isn’t always consistent with texting back. Finally, she has a stalker & I was trying to avoid being another burden to her. She seemed to come early to work today, further killing my incentive to text her. But then just like that, she was gone. I have the ugly feeling I should have said something. She might have gone with her stalker. Sounds crazy, but they briefly dated & she has issues with learned helplessness & love, thinking if you aren’t making it as obvious as possible, you don’t love her. Stalking is as obvious as it comes. I should have said something.
