It's funny how you can learn little tidbits of game from movies.
In the movie Pulp Fiction, you have John Travolta's character and Uma Thurman's character hanging out and getting to know one another. Uma Thurman's character asks John Travolta's character this question:
"In conversation, do you listen or wait to talk?"
I used this as an example in one of my other posts, but I felt it needed to be posted on it's own.
I say this because most men will like a woman, not listen to what she is saying, but in their minds they're thinking, "I need to say something cool so she can think I'm a cool, confident guy".
When you listen in conversation, you don't need to say anything cool. You can sit back, relax, and give her your attention. Allow what she said to process, and give your feedback or point of view if needed.
While men are trying to be cool for the moment (waiting to talk), you can be amazing 3 months down the line.
Let's say you're talking to a girl who briefly talked about an experience she had. In a very subtle way, you noticed she relived that moment, and changed the conversation. Three months later, you can take her to that place or let her have that experience again. This time, with you.
Her: "Oh my god, how did you know I liked this so much?"
You knew because you listened instead of waited to talk. When you listen, you can do all types of cool shit that a guy can't do who is waiting to say something cool within that moment.
On the flip side, when you listen, you can catch a woman in her lies. She may have told you about an experience she had, later on change the story, and you can tell her that she told you something totally different months ago.
This puts you in a position of power. Listening can give you the power to allow women to relive an experience or have new experiences with you that she can only dream of. It can also show her that she can't pull a fast one on you because you catch her in her lies because you not only listen to what she says, but you also pay attention to her body language.
So in conversation with a woman, the best thing you could possibly do to look cool is sit back and listen!
