Long story short, met this girl named Eva thru a mutual friend at an event. She and I vibed and made a lot of eye contact then the next day I texted the mutual friend to pass my number onto Eva, Eva then texted me.

Asked her to coffee but Eva then said she’s talking to someone and wants to see how it goes but would like to get to know me still and as friends. I made my intentions clear, see her romantically and insisted on it but said she’d still like to get to know me as a friend.

I never formally/officially accepted her terms as a friend but agreed to a hangout and she said sure.

I’m going to check in and confirm if she’s still down this week but what do I exactly do in this situation? Hang out with her purely platonically, flirt with her? I have a few ideas what she might be trying to do.
