This will most likely trigger a lot of you, as most of my posts do....

If you have been convinced that your looks are stopping you from success, your height, your money, your job, your hair, or that "women just dont like me" you have adopted an EXTERNAL locus of control. This way of living does have its benefits... You can attribute your success or lack there of, to factors that are not within your direct control, AND you get to be "CORRECT" you gain the benefit of exclaiming that it is not your fault, and that if things were different then maybe your experience would be to.

This creates a level of comfort, familiarity, and ultimately superiority, as you KNOW what factors are leading to the outcomes of your life, and anyone who says otherwise is WRONG.

Now, on the other hand, we have an internal locus of control, this is where you have adopted the belief that every outcome in your life is based on factors that you are personally in control of. This way of living gives freedom from outside pressures, but simultaneously means that all failures and success come from within, that means there is NO ONE TO BLAME. This perspective inherently requires massive self introspection, and a realistic view of the world. your shortcoming are your own, but at the same time, all of your triumphs are your own.

Now ask yourself "WHAT DO I BELIEVE"

those of us who have an internal locus of control will face a lot of hardship, rejection, and failure, HOWEVER, we will also persevere, because we know there is no one comingto save us, and it is up to us. YES, you will be laughed at, ridiculed, and torn down, but in the end you have the peace of mind knowing that you are in control of your life.

the point im making is simple, adopt an internal locus of control, and you will then be on the path to freedom.
