If you're in a huge office or an environment such as a school where you sometimes brush and meet people but sometimes don't see them for several days and run into them again it can be extremely effective to "innocently" introduce yourself to a female twice.

Just like you had never met her before. Of course you remember her, but you're pretending that you didn't.

Long story short, it basically tells her that she's nothing special to you, and you totally forgot about her. You're worth her time because you're so valuable that you don't remember every pretty girl.

This is a form of negging, but it works at a very subconscious level to especially attractive females "Why didn't he remember me?" "Nobody forgets me.."

It has worked for me many times on many levels, if you catch the person you're introducing yourself to twice "Hello! My name is so and so, what's yours?" And they get a slice mouth opened "WTF" face you've done it.

Obviously you don't want this to be same day, or day after. It's a very circumstantial technique that works for some people in certain fields far better than it does with other. I work in entertainment and meet lots of people nightly, so it works for me like the dickens.

You can now easily interject banter and other lines after opening to someone with their guard down.
