Hope you guys read it all because I need advice.

I never had a girlfriend. I’m 23 years old. I always through maybe is because I’m not good looking enough.

The thing is, I see myself in the mirror and I’m 100% not ugly, I think I’m above average in looks.

But I’m pretty awkward, low confidence and insecure.

I been told I’m good looking by friends, my mom tells me VERY often I’m good looking, and don’t think she does it just to make me feel better.

Girls have approached me before (rarely but have). Some girls look at me like they are interested and stuff.

I recently found a thread of a really good looking guy on reddit (he shared pics) and he mentions he still was a virgin at 21 because he never had confidence.

That made me realize looks is not everything but confidence, and people can easily detect it.

I also notice that when I’m confident (which is rare) people seem to treat me better and girls seem to check me out more.

But when I’m not confident people seem to not want to talk to me.

I’m currently going to a psychologist hopefully she can help me work in my confidence, but confidence is super important right?
