I'm trying to be more fun and leading, but when setting up a date (f.e 2nd, 3rd date) I always find myself thinking "well we can go out to eat in a cool place I've wanted, but tbh if she wants to just come to my place that's cool as well", so I just wanna ask her what she prefers - to grab something to eat or just meet at my place, but I feel like that's bad leadership and less exciting than "We're going out at 20:00, meet me at X". What do you guys think? Should I just pick something even if I don't have a preference and she may prefer the other option for the sake of being more exciting and leading?
