The word "pickup" is just a name. What studying pickup really means is, "learning how to improve your relationships with women by becoming a better person." There is nothing immoral about that.

If you're studying pickup to get "that one girl" it doesn't work. That's called Oneitis and it's usually a sign that a guy has poor social skills and low self esteem.

If you're an emotionally strong and attractive person then why would you think that only this one girl can make you happy? If you take care of yourself and you have normal self esteem then you can be attractive to many people.

TLDR: pickup isn't a means to get a woman it's a way to be more happy by becoming attractive to ALL women.

Pick-up and being charming to strangers is literally all you’re going to do for your whole life but I understand that you’re asking about the practice of going up to girls and asking for their numbers.

Morality is subjective so I wouldn’t listen to SJW YouTube too much...but they have a point that if you do it inappropriately it can come across as creepy, just read the room and take in the cues

It depends from the place it’s coming from. If you’re picking up girls for the sake of having sex with them without having fun or getting to know them, that’s bad. If you’re picking up girls because it’s fun as Hell, you like meeting people and sex is just a great side-effect, then it’s good.

The morale is a debate that wount ever come to a conclusion but what I will tell you is knowing game will help you get your dream girl by over 100%.

Read up enough and you'll be able to get to a point where you get her, and realize she isnt all you wanted and that you mightve just been falling for a facade. (Happened to me)

Then at that point your game will be honed enough for you to pick out what qualities you want and wount undersell yourself In your love/relationship life anymore

Most times its for sex. Sorry some of us men killed that "pickup" phrase for sex. Just dont think to much into it just go with the flow. So many what ifs? Instead of just go do it and work your magic. This is just reddit thats all.

Use what exactly as means to get a girl? You are talking about it like its a magic trick.

If you lie and try to trick a girl its not genuine. If you are trying to become the best version of your self in many parts of your life including the improvement of your social skills this does not sound as anything non-genuine at all.
