Go to the mirror right now. Look yourself in the eyes and say, "I love you." It might feel silly, difficult or hard. BUT GODDAMMIT THIS IS THE BEST FIRST STEP EVER. Do it everyday for a week. Soon you will start looking forward to it.

The next step is to start looking through the articles and advice on here. If you want personalized pointers and extra reading materials then PM because i have a ton and I really feel like helping someone. I'm the same age as you and have gone through some depressing shit - I know I can help you.

If you are working why not get your own place? It will help immensely and may be the first step of building confidence.

Do you ever chat with people as they are showing up/leaving the gym? I find this is a great time to open with new girls.

Yes, there is hope for you. Read the books "A New Earth" and/or "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. You will feel better. If you like it I have plenty more material I can recommend.

You can get girls even if you're ugly and homeless, but you can't do it with the attitude you currently have. A girl has never approached you? A girl isn't supposed to, that's your job. Water your cajones, as painful as it might be. The good news is, all of your problems are curable. If you REALLY want to and you're not just fishing for pity, you know it's possible. You just need to want it enough.

I know you think that because you've never been kissed, there is some inherent crippling flaw in you. That isn't true. You can succeed no matter who you are. It might seem like that mountain peak is a million miles away or even non-existent, but this subreddit is your map, and you can get there if you want. If this stuff seems like it's for most people, but nt you because you're beyond help, don't listen to that voice telling you so. It's a trick. You just had a slow start. Now get on your fucking horse and surprise yourself.

Sounds like you're a hell of a guy helping out your parents. If you're athletic maybe volunteer at the YMCA in the area? You will meet like minded people and they will appreciate your character. Not to mention a lot of women.

Start talking to everyone you encounter. No excuses.

If you do sad things you're going to be sad ,don't do that ,have a make over ,change looks if you want ,gain confidence ,join a sport ,club,find a hobby ,you'll be around people and eventually make friends ,get out of your COMFORT ZONE ,people have been in worse situations then you and your life isnt pointless don't ever say that ever again

Well, others have addressed lots of stuff here, but I just wanted to say that if you listen to sad music, you will be sad. Music is something that connects right to your soul. Start listening to some aggressive rap or metal or something else that is happy, energetic or aggressive. It makes a big difference. Good luck!
