This has been long due. It’s over most probably or there’s chance i don’t know but I’m proud of myself and glad that it happened.

She’s nice, kind and pretty but awkwardly she’s my colleague. I had a crush on her since I saw her first time when I came for interview lol.

⏩ fast forwarding. We used to talk much often and laugh at each other. Sometimes I’ll make a joke then she would laugh and pinch me. So may be I thought too much and have been asking her for out. She never replied back to that request. But few days ago she agreed.before coming out she asked my opinion on what to wear.

We went to a nice cafe and we had chat and conversed about 2-3 hours.it was really nice. We spoke about each other’s preferences on life partners, ex’s, stupid mistakes, family, how we both fck up in tinders in swiping and lot other stuffs.

She expressed how she has the more respect for me at work amongst all colleagues, and complimented on my looks and all but in the end she confessed that we shouldn’t go ahead beyond a specific limit because we’re workmates and she has different preferences on her life partner. Well I respect that. And I guess that’s the end of the dream. Time to move on. We still talk and have fun like before and she would soft punch/pinch me even at her own jokes but I don’t take it as the other way that she likes me.

So This is the story of trying date a colleague. But I’m glad I had the courage to ask her and things were clear for better for both of us.

She texted how she’s thankful and happy for taking her out and she would like to go often but I don’t keep my hopes high now.

To all the men never fear of rejections. It only makes you more confident. And you don’t have waste your time and peace of mind in imagination. Good luck all out there.
