I went out with a girl on Wednesday. She was really into me because she was nervous and flirty. She wanted to exchange Instagram and Snap.

I thought she was different, and I don't really have to play games. I felt happy that someone liked me, it was a happiness that I haven't felt in a long time........But everyone wants a challenge.......

So, I texted her the next day (mistake 1) because I wanted to set up a date with her. But I asked her how her day was going to start the conversation. She was slow to respond but she did respond to me with a smiley face emoji. Should have just set up the date before asking her how her day was going (mistake 2)

I was busy so I couldn't respond to her on Thursday to set up a date. I ended up texting her again on Friday to set up the date (mistake 3). This time she was really slow and used "maybe" next weekend.

I asked a friend of mine when I should text her. Because I felt something was off. He said it doesn't matter. He is one of those guys who seem to not have trouble finding a date. He said that games don’t work.

He told me to text her Sunday to get something set up for the next weekend. BAD mistake. She stopped responding to me. LOL

So I learned my lesson. I need to get better at the texting game. Is there anything that I should read on Reddit?
