Hey you might have something there. I used to take small groups of foreign exchange students (many of them women) on tours around town. Many of them were architecture students. I'd show them the old Historic District of town, including a very impressive old Victorian-era home my dad restored, where I lived when I was a little kid. The girls would look at the elaborate ornamentation and coo, "It's like a gingerbread house!"

Now I wasn't trying to seduce any of these girls, I never gave it any thought. But now that you mention it, I am putting the old house back on tour. It's even pretty impressive at night. It would be a great makeout spot, but unfortunately it's a private road and a very small neighborhood with a narrow dirt road cul-de-sac where strange cars really stick out.

I got out of the friendzone with a similar adventure : I brought my date (friendzoned from college 10 yrs ago) to an art gallery. It was outside, and we both had little clue in arts but nothing extravagant. The fact is I attended the very same art gallery the day prior to the date, talked to the artists and asked them about their work, etc... On the second day, not only was I high-value talking to people i merely knew (in fact I really merely knew them), but their response were amazing, they understood the spot I was in and played along with me and my date explaining, all over again, how they make their art, why, in wich context, etc... By the end of that date she was holding my arm, beeing amazed at how talkative I could be with total strangers and how confident I was in a social dynamic context. Cant wait to see her again.

I handed out food to the homeless with a girl last week. She totally digged it, but it honestly depends on the girl you're dealing with. Just make sure to accommodate both your and her needs, so the night is enjoyed equally.

i think dates should have movement to them as a general rule and i prefer it if there is an activity or something to do or see which sparks conversations good date ideas for me obviously adjust to suit the individual

walk in the park rock climbing go karting drinks rowing( i do this a lot so its a pretty unique circumstance to be able to take a girl out in a boat definitely not something you do on a first date) museums or art galleries etc

examples of bad date ideas in my opinion

sitting down for a coffee dinner movies

I recently went on a date with a friend of mine whom was in country for a few days, as she's a stewardess. Took her out for ice cream and then proceeded to walk down by the river where we chatted. Honestly a great date idea imo. Unfortunately she's not home often enough.

I suppose it depends on the woman. I will make a snap assessment based on what I think she likes and then go from there.

If you were dating some Shoreditch, bisexual feminist hipster type and you told her to come play house with you she may take that the wrong way -- see what I mean? Extreme example, but I suppose it nails the point home.

My preferred approach is to go to a quality bar (of which there are thankfully many in London) with very skilled bartenders. Everybody loves cocktails, and why not taste each others' for some added intimacy.

Most bars have just one drinks list / menu per table so the two of you can huddle over the menu as you place your hand on her back (because, naturally, you are sitting next to her.) See? Easy. Follow on with more kino by trying to guess her cocktail style: [hand gently placed on upper arm] "Let me guess.. you're bitters girl -- you like your Sazeracs and your Old Fashioneds"

Next week I'm taking a girl to a science museum. This should be a home run because those places tend to have TONS of hands on stuff for shared experience to build rapport. It also helps that we have a mutual fascination with natural science.
