How much of your 'game is lines and routines that you try to shoehorn into each interaction out of interest?

I don't tend to do this, so I wonder if I am even using 'game'. Maybe my lack of lines and routines is the reason why I still fail to get anywhere after 100 or so approaches (night game)

Do any of you have certain lines you always use when the opportunity comes up? (maybe something like ''we can't be together anymore'' when she says something you disagree with for example)

OR, Do any of you always go into some sort of routine soon after the open?

I'm thinking about incorporating this, as I often can't think of anything to say soon after the open. I try to make assumptions about the girl (what she does for a job or something) but often there's nothing about her that jumps out at me, and even if there is, and I 'assume' something, the conversation doesn't usually flow well. I just don't know what to ask her/talk about soon after i've opened and maybe asked her her plans for the evening or whatever.

Most of the books i've read have recommended some sort of routine in them - both magic bullets and 'bang', but i'm yet to really give it a proper go yet as it feels a bit weird/unnatural

curious to know, though.

Cheers
