You want to compliment someone? Listen to them. It's the ultimate compliment to actively listen to someone's opinions/thoughts. Look at successful politicians when they meet with voters- they listen intently when being asked a question. People (esp women) loved Bill Clinton because he listened and appeared emphathetic. Remember, "I feel your pain?"
