Hell yes. Learn how to make a good salad. A really good salad, like with nuts and cheese and shit. And make your own dressing. Also, pan-seared meat makes most girls tremble - look up alton brown's steak episode (the very first one) and learn how to apply it to other meat, like thick cut pork chops and frenched lamb chops. And dark chocolate mousse is a slayer.

Learn a few basic dishes that will be your signature dishes. Always have a couple of dishes that can be quickly prepared when you bounce a woman to your place on the spur of the moment. And then always have the ingredients on hand. I particularly recommend Julia Child's 20 Second Omelet. I throw on some shredded parmesan and ground black pepper and it's ready instantly. I also recommend also learning how to make a quick quesadilla. I haven't seen a proper how-to video that describes the way I make it. Let me just suggest you avoid any technique that uses oil or butter, just cook it in a teflon pan with no oil. Fats are too heavy, they will lower a woman's energy (and yours) and nobody will be hopping into bed with a heavy, full stomach. I also tend to avoid using onions, garlic, or spicy salsa as it will spoil your breath and who wants to make out under those conditions?

You should also always have a good dinner dish to prepare on a dinner date. Women love to hang out while you're cooking. I recommend learning to broil some skinless chicken breasts. You can put them in a broiler pan, coat with a little olive oil and put on a very small sprinkling of Italian Spice. Any bachelor can bake that, even one that can't cook. I make a variation, I bake lemon-pepper chicken breasts in a dish. Put them in a ceramic baking dish, pour a ton of lemon juice over them (the kind that comes in plastic lemon-shaped containers is fine). Grind a little fresh pepper over them (lemon juice first, pepper second, or you'll wash away the pepper). Then bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Make a bunch of chicken at one time, keep the leftovers on hand for extra dishes like quesadillas.

The secret to cooking is to have a few simple dishes and practice them until you have optimized the method. I first learned this from a guy who made some weird asian noodle dish for a party. Everyone asked him how he made it. He said he just followed the instructions on the package. But everyone liked it so much, he had so many requests to make them over and over, he practiced at it and got really good. And now it's his signature dish.

This is good advice even if you're not actually going to cook for girls, it gives you something to talk about and be passionate about.

IMO it's a lot of fun, but I like building/making things and cooking isn't really all that different from building a motorcycle or something when you think about it.

I'm currently 22 years old, and I like to cook. I'm a senior in college and soo many of my guy and girl friends do not know how to cook a decent meal. It just takes some practice to get the cooking sense. I was lucky in that my mom is French and a very good cook, she always cooked delicious home cooked meals while I was growing up. I learned to cook by watching her and emulating the dishes she cooked so well.

Yes OP you are right cooking does have its benefits for being with women...but that is just one of the many, many advantages of knowing how to cook.

you can save money, yet eat *better than eating out at many places

*cook for friends for social gatherings

*enjoy eating your favorite things whenever you want, we spend so much of our lives eating...why not eat what you want.

way easier to eat *healthy and good food
