You gotta approach them. Sometimes you gotta be the Io. I approached a woman (who didnt give any ios) for the first time the other day. It was scary at first but as soon as I did it the fear went away and next thing i know i was talking to a nice girl. You just gotta say fuck it, and do it.

Are you feeling miserable and lonely before you go out? Have you heard of getting "in state" before you go out? Here's an idea:

Remember the most confident time in your life. Amplify it in your mind. What were you wearing, where were you going, what did your hair look like etc.
Wake up and remember that feeling, whatever amount you can muster. Put on your best pair of jeans, do your hair, wear cologne, and get nice smells all over your body. Look in the mirror and smile!
Call someone, anyone, your closest friend or your closest confidant. Talk to them about your feelings and your life and hopefully they're decent at motivating you. This is a social warm up that you NEED before you go out.

Now go try sitting in the beer garden or somewhere else and tell me you don't feel at least 10% more awesome than before.

You CAN do this. It even took most dating coaches to hit their rock bottom before they turned their lives around.

Well you are who you are, can never change that, all you can do is improve yourself, and next time approach. If you get no IOIs it was likely a bad venue, go to somewhere where girls are looking to get picked up as opposed to a beer garden where people are socializing, as at these places everyone gets IOIs. Also cold approaching is not effective unless your solid, warm approaching at night is much more successful.

Maybe it's just me but I've always had an awful time trying to meet (quality) women at bars and clubs, although bringing them there can be fun. Those are the WORST environments to meet women because they usually have tons of guys hitting on them or just hovering around them blocking your game, and usually they are loud and reduce people to a very superficial level. It's hard to get to know someone.

Try not to get too down on yourself -- you at least tried going out, which puts you ahead of a lot of folks. I would really recommend trying to meet women at events where there's a real social activity so you can get to know them a bit, and/or online dating. Sometimes "out and about" works but if I'm reflecting on it it hasn't gone too well for me in general. Maybe I'm just not the type.
