I heard that having purpose in life can help a lot in pick up and dating. You don't want to have your world revolve around 1 girl, you want to have a rich world going around you and the idea is you "invite" a girl to join you.I heard this mindset and I like the idea of it. The person from whom I heard this mindset described the first step as finding 'purpose'.

So I tried to think of purpose and nothing comes in mind. I work in retail and pretty much 'alright' with my life. My only 'purpose' right now is to build a friend circle and start dating girls. I dont want to go and save children in africa or open a business or study a trade or open a youtube channal... I just want to meet some girls and hang out.

maybe Im not understanding the 'purpose' bit currently... what would it even mean? would learning a another language be considered a purpose? learn dancing? learn how to play an instrument? or does it mean something more long term, in which case - how do I even decide, when I feel I dont have any grand ambition?
