So, I'm a 25-year-old guy living in a major Western European city, well-known for its fashion industry.

Here, I hardly get any matches on Tinder and other dating apps—maybe 15-20 on the first day of using the app, and then nothing at all. Consequently, I delete my profile and create a new one.

Nine out of ten of those matches are average at best.

On the flip side, when I set my location to countries like Poland or the Czech Republic, I get outstanding results. Even without swiping, I get around 10 matches a week, with many of them being very attractive girls. Some of them even fit my dream type of girl looks-wise. It's hard to attribute this solely to economic differences because nowadays, those countries are not significantly poorer than Western European countries. While they may be slightly less affluent, it doesn't seem to justify the disparity in matches I experience (and thus, the concern about gold diggers).

I've been contemplating whether I should try to find a job there and live there for a bit to improve my dating and social life.

Recently, I've made an effort to be more social by attending student parties and meeting more people every week. I've had positive results in terms of making friends and getting to know girls. I'm generally well-received and liked by girls, but I always struggle to transition from platonic friendship to romantic interest. Whenever it has happened with girls I've known casually in real life, they've had to make an overt and explicit move on me.

That's why I believe the framework of a Tinder date would make my life way easier.

All the girls I've had relationships with still like me to this day, and a couple of them even say they can't forget me. So, I think I'm mature enough for a relationship.
