So I'm a big fan of all types of magic tricks but my personal favorite type of effect is mentalism, where I appear to be able to read minds. I'm pretty convincing. I was on the bus on my way to campus when this cute chick sat next to me. I figured why the hell not and asked her if she'd like to see some magic. She said she'd love to and was pretty receptive to it, and after a few minutes I was reading her mind and she had no idea how but she loved it. As our bus came to a stop, I got up and turned around saying "Wait, hold on a second... I'm sensing.... I'm sensing that you want to give me your number." She laughed and called me a dork (I thought I was smooth as fuck) but gave me her number anyway. This is the first time I've ever tried to use magic to pick up a girl and it seems like it's a good routine. I guess what I want to know is if this chick just had a thing for magic or if it's actually a good routine that I can expect to work in other situations, thanks in advance!
