Hi all. I've read Models a long time ago and feel like it helped me a bunch in sorting my shit out.

Here's why I'm here.

I have a female friend, who has a lot of similar issues that guys who seek out this sort of self help do. She puts potential partners on pedestals, gets stuck on rereading texts and seeking meaning, gets invested too quickly, etc.

Over the last few months I've been thinking about offering "Models" for her to read but I don't know how she would take it. I feel like some of the stuff works for both genders when it comes to the self improvement element, but I fear like the book may be written too much with men in mind and might put her off. (Or not, it's been a while since I've read it)

I guess what I'm asking is if others here have had experience in either sharing the book or at least discussing it with women, and what their reactions were, as well as for recommendations on a more female friendly version of the same principles.
