I’ve probably been lifting for about 3 years, 2 years with proper nutrition. Now, whenever i look in the mirror, I don’t think it’s enough for me to attract girls I’m interested in. I’m definitely more fit than the average 22 year old but I still feel inadequate. It’s even worse now that I’m college.
I’m in a health related major and now that I’m more into the major, I’m seeing (no homo) some good looking dudes in my class. In my head I’m thinking, “There’s no way I could find a hot girl when competing with all these muscular athletic looking dudes.”
By not putting myself out there socially, I fail to meet any women at my school. The rare times I do approach, it never works out past them giving me their snap/#. I blame those failures on how I look and then proceed to tear down my body image. Anyone know how to rewrite self-destructive thoughts?
