I agree, especially with firming up expectations from the get go. I always assumed girls wouldn’t be down to fuck casually, or that they’d expect something more after awhile. I was wrong about that. But in my experiences girls will say they’re down w casual but most are really not- they look at you as a challenge and they want to be “the one” to change you. Kind of like oneitis in reverse

This seems to imply that there's a universal scale of "quality," when "quality" is dependent upon one's value systems.

Value systems vary. Women in the VIP area of a club value different things than hippies or Bible thumpers.

People who are insecure, men or women, will date someone who isn't committing to them, for a variety of reasons. Attributing this to just women is not accurate.

Some people want more but don't think they're worthy of it.
Some people think they can earn their way to a commitment, though casual encounters.
A few people are just polyamorous.

He details that initiating the talk in the right way, at the right time, allows you to ensure that there's little fuss over the matter and no drama develops.
You don't do this talk in public or make a big deal about it.
It's all about being casually clear about what you want, while not patronizing her in assuming that you know what she wants.
Tell her what you like about being with her, lay out what you want clearly, and leave the choice up to her whether she wants to keep on casually.
Back up the talk with your actions. Casual relationships means that you're not engaging in PDAs (public displays of affection), seeing them more than once every 8 days or so, hanging with their friends, whispering sweet nothings into their ears, etc.
Overall, it's about being "open, direct, honest, unapologetic, here's what I can offer, and in a nice way, take it or leave it."

If you hide the fact that you're dating other women, some women will choose to believe that you're only dating them.

If you never say that you're NOT looking to be exclusive, some women will choose to believe you'll come around.

This just sounds like your trying to condone cheating, most women would like a man who has slept with other women sure but that doesnt mean they want someone they put their trust in to actively break that trust and sleep around that doesnt make you anymore attractive quite the contrary. Sure a women might be more willing to forgive that kind of act as opposed to men but thats for an entirely diffrent reason that i dont want to go into but the fact is that a relationship is based on trust and if you break that trust your not making yourself look anymore attractive
