I started reading seddit a while ago as I was trying to get better at talking to girls and having better success in the dating world. Basically a lot of what I have read was helpful as far as goals such as being confident, doing little things to make yourself more appealing to girls on an inward level. But here's the thing... I'm of the mindset that there are a lot of people who won't benefit a whole ton from this advice, even though a lot of it is solid. It seems like it will improve people a little bit, but that a lot of guys will have a lot of difficulty having success with girls despite this knowledge.

My point? Inner game is useful sure, but you should also focus on your physical appearance! I don't see a lot of people mentioning this, it always seems like people are only concentrating on self improvement from the inner areas. But outer game makes more difference than inner game hands down. I don't care how shitty a male model's inner game could possibly be, he's still going to have tons of success with girls.

So I hope you're not thinking you have to be a male model to have success with girls, but I don't like the idea of guys who are still having bad luck, sitting puzzled behind their computers, regardless of their improved inner game. Many of these people are probably out of shape, dress like shit, could improve on hygiene, and generally look a whole lot better. If you can't seem to wrap your head around the fact that a hot girl doesn't want to sleep with someone who's less than a 5 on the looks scale in spite of his killer conversation skills and confidence you're crazy and need to snap back into reality.

Sorry to rock the boat over here, but people spread the words "inner game" all over this community and I think the order of things couldn't be further off.

Here's what I'm suggesting. Work on your physical appearance! It's the first thing people notice about you and before a girl knows anything about you she already has an idea in her head about whether or not she'd sleep with you. Inner game is something that comes with experience and will naturally improve regardless of how clueless you are because it's easy to fix with any social interaction. External improvement is a little harder, but still possible to make yourself look appealing. Also, by improving your physical appearance, you WILL improve inner game. It doesn't work the opposite way though.

Step 1: Clothes. It's easy to go from baggy sweats to some dressier form fitting garb and look leagues better. Do some shopping and get some clothes that look good. You've already improved your appearance! High five for you, you go Glen Coco!

Step 2: Hair. Another easy way to improve your looks. Get a nice haircut that works well with you and something that you'll be able to maintain every day. Be sure to wash your hair and consider some styling gel so you always look put together.

Step 3: Hygiene. Get some skin products if you have acne, that shit sucks I understand, proactive might help, but it's pretty weak. Try benzol peroxide or go to the dermatologist if it's bad. Clear skin will also dramatically improve your looks. Facial hair is a mixed bag. Clean shaven is a safe bet, but if you have dark hair and look good with stubble, go for it. Just keep it clean and well groomed. Speaking of grooming, be sure to trim the pubes... no girl wants to go down on a forest. Brush your damn teeth! Bad breath is a hell of a turn off... keep some minty gum as a backup. Also, focus on diet. Certain foods make your skin look good and certain foods make it look like shit, so figure out what's what. Take a shower all the time, wash well, smell good. Cologne if you want, deodorant is a must. Fuck B-O!

Step 4: Diet. I kinda covered this as in don't eat junk foods that fuck up your skin, but also don't eat shit that makes you a fat pig. Focus on real foods... as in things that spoil and don't last via preservatives for ages in the freezer. Get lots of veggies and fruits, eat a fuck ton of meat, and go easy with the carbs. Dairy is also a good source of protein, milk can be your best friend, along with protein shakes. Cut the junk food way down. Not only will you be healthier by eating right, but you'll feel better and more energetic. This leads into the next step.

Step 5: Exercise. You're going to want to eat enough food to meet your caloric needs while exercising and you're going to want to work out a few times a week at least. If you have access to a gym, awesome! Get in a routine and make it a habit. 3 times a week over the course of 6 months can dramatically change a persons physique. If you don't have a gym, that's okay (even though it's easier if you do). If not, find a public track area (near schools) that you can run on and that has a pull up bar. Do push ups and pull ups... Tom Hardy trained using circuits with only his own body weight in preparation for the movie "Warrior" and he was huge so it can work. If you need to loose weight while toning up and building some muscle, eat less while working out. If you are skinny and need to bulk up with muscle then eat a ton of food while working out regularly and you'll see yourself go up. This is a very hard step! It requires dedication and perseverance but the results will transform you. If you need some encouragement, do some YouTube searches for "body transformation" and you'll see how people go from looking like shit to looking great.

Follow these steps and you'll see yourself become leagues more attractive, and generally healthier. From all these wonderful changes I guarantee you'll feel sexy, healthy, happy, energetic, and confident. Even if your face doesn't look like Brad Pitt's does it's okay if you have a great body to make up for it and the great news is that BASICALLY EVERYONE CAN GET A GREAT BODY. No more blindly telling yourself that you're awesome, you'll have proof and lots of attention confirming it. In this way, you'll also see improvement in inner game without even focusing on it. It'll come naturally which is what you want anyway.

TL'DR: If you're finding that the inner game seddit stuff isn't helping or getting you the results you want, make a change. Work on your physical appearance... it helps inner game as well, while making everything so much better and easier for you. Good luck, and I hope this helps at least one person.

Edit: I was using the word "outer game" but have switched it to physical appearance. Semantics, my apologies. But it doesn't change the meaning of the post.
