I’m a newcomer to the game, but I’d like to dabble it to boost my self-confidence with the opposite sex. I understand the concepts and logistics of picking up girls in a nightclub but how do daytime pickups work, like in a coffeeshop or on the street random persay?

As of right now, there’s this barista drawing a chalk mural outside the entrance the coffeeshop. I’m thinking of going up to her, asking what it is, and after she tells me what it is, I compliment her on it and say ‘well it’s quite pretty, much like the girl who’s drawing it.’ But how would I escalate in this scenario assuming it pans out in that fashion?
